Malu Manabat is Together in Hope’s onsite project and leadership development coordinator in the Philippines. Malu has been working with community development and leadership training in the Philippines for the past five years and works with small group empowerment and leadership training in each of our communities.
Nida Ruth Gonda is a native of Naga City (Bicol Region). Nida Ruth Gonda is a graduate of Harris Memorial College with the degree in Bachelor’s in Kindergarten Education. In 1979 she was awarded a scholarship to attend a graduate school in Nashville, TN; and in 1981 she received a degree in Master of Arts in Christian Education from Scarritt College. She moved to Houston, TX after completing her graduate school. Her family is currently active members of Bellaire United Methodist Church/Asian-American congregation, where Nida serves as co-chair of Mission/Outreach Committee.
She currently works as Compliance Analyst for Neighborhood Centers Inc., a non-profit Social Service Agency. Nida helps organize, launch, and oversee community projects in each of our site locations in the Philippines. Nida’s expertise is in community assessment and mapping. Nida has been working with Together in Hope projects since its beginning.
