Meet Our Board

There are 11 board members that serve on the advisory board of Together in Hope. Each board member contributes their time and valuable skills to Together in Hope. No board member receives any compensation for their services.

Diane McGehee: Founder and Executive Director
Diane McGehee is a licensed attorney and a United Methodist pastor. She currently serves as the Director of the Center for Missional Excellence for the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Rev. McGehee graduated from the Harvard Law School in 1987 and also has a Masters of Divinity from the Perkins School of Theology at SMU. She has spent her professional careers serving the underserved.=

Jack McGehee: Co founder and Director
Jack McGehee has been with Together in Hope since its beginning in 2007. Mr. McGehee is an attorney and Senior Partner of McGehee Chang & Barnes. He graduated from the West Point Military Academy in 1974 and St. Mary's Law School. Mr. McGehee brings his expertise in law and business management, as well as a life-time of commitment to representing marginalized persons and families

Roberta Beckman:
Roberta is retired from Procurement at NASA's Johnson Space Center.  As a retiree, she has more time for volunteer and benevolent pursuits and hopes to bring this to Together in Hope.

Robin Lovvorn:
BS, RN, BSN, Interim Emergency Services Director, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Ms Lovvorn has served on boards of numerous charitable organizations and organized a number of fundraising events. Ms Lovvorn brings her medical and organizational skills, as well as her passion for helping people.

Dennis Beckman:
Dennis Beckman is retired from NASA/Johnson Space Center, where he was a manager of space shuttle and space station training for astronauts and flight controllers.  Now he divides his time between world travel and supporting various charitable organizations.

Janet Deleon:
Janet enjoys being involved in projects that empower and impact the lives of families in need. Her background is in media relations and marketing. She works for the nonprofit organization AVANCE-Houston and looks forward to reaching out to more families around the world through Together in Hope. Janet's nonprofit communications team has been recognized as #1 in Houston and she has been named among the city's best young PR professionals by the Public Relations Society of America. She is a member of the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals (HAHMP)

David Sistiva:
David currently works as Business Planner for Exxon Mobil. He is currently supporting the Planning & Budgeting, as well as Operations & Stewardship for drilling projects in West Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific. David also serves as Vice President for the Global Organization for the Advancement of Latinos (GOAL). David graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Structural Engineering, and from Rice University with a Master’s in Business Administration.David traveled to several developing countries to serve as volunteer, including one year spent in Guyana working as a teacher.

Issam Konsul:
Issam Konsul joined the Together in Hope board in 2013. Issam has worked as a Risk and Controls Advisor for the last 6 years and was looking for a way to use that experience to give back to communities around the world when he met the Together in Hope leadership. Issam has earned his MBA from the University of Houston and currently practices as an active CPA and CIA, as well as being an ordained minister.

Wendy Snead:
Wendy Snead currently works as the Controller for Creeris Ventures. Her experience in both accounting and non profit work make her uniquely qualified to serve as our Treasurer.

Jean Brackendorff:
Jean Wilkinson Brackendorff was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Communications for Texas Instruments, Inc.Jean retired from Texas Instruments as the vice-president of worldwide marketing in 2010 . In addition to Together in Hope, Jean serves on the boards Ronald McDonald House Friends and the High School for the Visual and Performing Arts – HSPVA Friends. She has been to El Salvador twice with Together in Hope.
